An indication of the standards

	Introductory Session / Complete Beginners	Saturday at 2pm is a complete beginners lesson including an introductory session (total 1 hour). Sunday at 2pm is a half-hour introductory session without a lesson. The introductory session is designed to improve clients safety and awareness near horses. Within this session you will be given a short tour of the stables, shown which clothing, footwear and size of helmet are appropriate. You will also be shown how to lead, mount and dismount a pony/horse, and have a short ride learning the basisc of 'start, stop, and steer'.
	Beginner	Starting to ride - to capable of rising trot without assistance
	Beginner's Trot	Capable and confident doing rising trot unassisted
	Beginner Plus	Learning to canter, pole work.
	Intermediate Minus	Confident cantering and balanced over a fence
	Intermediate	Capable of trotting without stirrups, cantering, & course of small jumps
	Intermediate Plus	Confident of jumping a small course of jumps and cantering circles, lateral work and XC

If only one person in group lesson, lesson will last for 45mins.

Ride outs

Treks	Walk & trot only (12.00pm, 2.00pm, 4.00pm)
Braids Rides	Walk, trot & canter (11.00am, 3.00pm)
2 Hour Rides	Available by arrangement for group of 4 or more.
Restricted rides (private group)	Will go at groups own capability.

Please note that due to insurance restrictions Ride outs are unavailable to children under 8 years of age, and no tuition can be given to children under 5. Pony rides are still available for children under 10 years.

All clients are recommended to have suitable footwear with small heel (NO TRAINERS) and comfortable clothing.

New clients should download and complete the rider registration form before the first visit and make us aware of any change in circumstance.
