Riding is a risk sport

Your choice to ride is voluntary. Although we do make every effort to ensure each client is allocated a suitable horse, horses can be unpredictable.

To minimise risk please adhere to the following:

• Remove all jewellery when riding
• Wear BSI approved hats with secured chin strap
• Use appropriate footwear, (not anything with a flat sole)
• Wear suitable clothing (nothing that could flap)
• Complete a client registration form
• Advise staff of any relevant medical complaint
• Don’t mount your horse until an instructor is present
• If you require assistance ask a member of staff

New clients should download and complete the rider registration form before the first visit and please make us aware of any change in circumstance.

We recommend all riders have their own personal accident policy.
