Riding and Road Safety exam at Tower Farm

Anybody over 12yrs interested in taking their R&RS Exam please contact Caroline Buckle. A.S.A.P.

The exam day is booked for Friday 9th April 2010 at 10.00am.

Training costs are £40.00 with own mount or £70.00 to hire horse for training and exam.

Training consists of 3 sessions, Mon 1st March 5.10pm (dismounted) complete application forms, general chat etc, Monday 5th April 10.00am or 11.30am (spilt into 2 groups), simulated road route etc.

Mock exam session at 10.00am on Wed 7th April.

In addition there are examination costs made payable to the BHS, £34 BHS members, riding club members and under 16’s and £44 for all others.

Application forms are available from Caroline Buckle and must reach the BHS 21 days before the test date of a late application fee will be applied. These will be done on the first day of training. Payment for both training and exam fee must be paid on Monday 1st March

Training manual Riding and Roadcraft 11th Edition must have been read prior to the training days. You must also have a copy of The Highway Code.

Payment in full must be made at time of booking.
