Tower Farm hosted an open afternoon on Friday 23rd October in conjuction with Active Schools and Scottish Equestrian Assocaiation. It was attended by 109 children from primary schools across edinburgh. SEA brought the mechnical horse - that was enjoyed by all - the were kind enough to let the staff, helpers and liveries also have a go. We had pony rides (Leigh and Eve), grooming sessions (Rhiannon), stable tours (Sinead and Cara) a mini showjumping for kids (Cheryl) and face painting (Claire Mc). 15th November Fun show jumping show on 31st October was a great success and £2060.00 was raised for cystic fibrosis in memory of Jennifer Turnbull. The overall points for best hired mount was won by Alana riding Liam. They were presented the 'Friends of Jennifer trophy' by Jennifers parents. The overall trophy for private mounts was won by Leigh on Nimbus and he won the trophy kindly sponsored by John Lewis. Many thanks to all that made the night a great success and thank you to all sponsors. We will be doing offical photos of Jennifer's mum and dad being presented the cheque in the near future.
