A class room based course with access to horses aimed at:

First time horse owners
Parents, guardians
Anybody interestedower

The course will be run on Tuesday nights at 7.15pm - 8.15pm for 9 weeks starting on May 13th 2009.

Cost £90 payable at time of booking direct to Debbie Cameron.

In week 9 candidates have the option to sit a written paper at an additional cost of £15 to be paid if taking the exam, which will be marked by the instructor and moderated by the BHS: BHS issue your certificate.

Topics include:

knowledge of horse types
colours
elementary stable management
grooming, feeding, watering
signs of good health
Elementary rules for preparing a horse to ride out.
