Learn to ride - All ages, all stages

Established in 1972 Tower Farm is a fairly large establishment with a wide choice of equestrian activities. Tower Farm fully licensed and insured and is approved by ABRS and TRSS.

Tower Farm has access to many scenic rides with no road work, most rides go around the Braid Hills Golf Course where you are able to view the whole of Edinburgh including the Pentlands, Arthur seat, The Castle, the Forth Bridges and many other of Edinburgh’s famous landmarks.

Tower Farm offers individual instruction, group lessons, pony rides and ride outs for all. Competitions, livery and clinics with Andrew Hamilton/Joy McLean are available for those wishing to progress. Tower Farm also often hosts lecture/demos with equine stars such as Kelly Marks/Richard Maxwell.

We have a wide variety of horses/ponies from 10hh to 17.3hh so we have horses to suit all needs.  We can cater for most requests and can make arrangements for longer rides, disabled riders etc if required.
